Class Description

Pole Dance is the ultimate full body workout! Combining elements such as dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics with a vertical metal pole, our ultra popular pole fitness classes are a blast! It is perfect for building strength, flexibility, self confidence, and not to mention working up a sweat!

All are welcome in our pole classes, whether you are a total beginner or a high level pole expert, you can always learn something new!

Class Types

Pole Fitness – This class will teach you basic spins, sits, and climbs for our beginner clients. Intermediate and advance students will learn laybacks, inverts, shoulder mounts, and handsprings, as well as conditioning moves on how to achieve these moves.

Pole Choreo – Our Pole Choreography class focuses on creating dance combos with static and spin pole. This is a great addition to your other pole classes as it will teach you to flow from one trick to the next with grace.

Spin Pole Combos – Gain momentum in this fun and challenging class and put a spin on what you have learned in our Beginner – Advanced Pole classes. This class is a great complement to static pole, and for those who want to perform more on the pole.

Pole classes will aid in improving both strength and technique while providing an exciting and intense workout! Try one today!

All Levels & Beginner/Intermediate Classes:

  • All Levels Pole Choreo
  • Beg/Inter Pole

Inter/Advanced Pre-requisites:

  • Pole Inter/Adv – Must be learning skills within AcroFit’s intermediate or advanced curriculum. If you are coming from another studio, and have prior pole experience, please email the studio to confirm you can attend this level.
  • Spin Pole Combos – must be able to climb the pole and hold a sit position.
  • Pole Choreo Inter/Adv –Must be training in the Inter/Adv pole curriculum at the studio. Must be able to successfully do a front and back shoulder roll. Must be able to hold a shoulder stand.

Attire

Bare feet (unless specified by instructor), and shorts.  Short-shorts are preferred. No leggings please. No jewelry such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, no watches and no lotions as it may stain the pole.

Choreo classes may use socks, kneepads, and heels.
